blumash Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Dear friendsWhile installing XP Pro I get a screen of time zone, would like to avoid this screen. Please helpThank's
Guest Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) In your CD or setup files folder there is a folder SUPPORT\TOOLS. In there you will see a deploy.cab. Extract that cab somewhere and run setupmgr.exe. It will create an answer file that can be used to avoid setup screens. Once you have created the file, rename it to winnt.sif. Place it in the i386 folder, make your ISO and burn it. You can also use nLite to do this which will do the winnt.sif, creating image and even burning if you want. For reference or if you want to do it manually see: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/19/ Edited August 14, 2009 by -X-
blumash Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 Thanks -x- for your answer, I prefer to do it with Nlite, the other way(s) look little complicate. Please advice me how to do it VIA Nlite. Thanks again
Guest Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Select unattended task and then fill out this and other screens...
