how come on my 1.1ghz computer youtube runs sorta lagged on 98se?

but i duel boot with windows xp and its not bad? would windows ME fix this? i'm running flash 9


Don't quote me on this, but I think that on some flash anims/youtube videos, it might happen that flash would chew a ton of GDI resources, causing the lag. There's a experimental project here ("GDI Heap Extender") which you could try.

Its odd though because I'm also running flash 9 on really new hardware and I don't have problems.
