Guest Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I noticed your only other post here was in a thread about hacking system dlls. Are you using hacked dlls?
JenniferArden Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I had the same problem after slip streaming SP3 into a standard xp source and then using my SP2 Shell32.dll that I hacked / customized, the SP3 user32.dll did not want to work with the SP2 shell32.dll so I also replaced the SP3 user32.dll with a SP2 version - this solved the illegal relocation error. Its too much work to customize the SP3 versions all over again, it seems to be working fine with my Nlited SP3 XP. I also used a few other SP2 files that I customised and they all are working fine. When I feel like a lot of work again someday I will customise the SP3 versions.Hope this helps,Jennifer
