previously got a project to create a silent install disc for Windows XP. And now I decided to put my work open source and hope developers like you, contribute to the project and finally and hopefully create a product that everyone love!

Here at my blog, you can find all the scripts and sources, and those are available now!

In order to use this script, follow this instruction:

Step1:

Extract the OEM.zip and place the $OEM$ folder to WindowsXP folder about to integrate

Step2:

Place the WPI folder to the same windowsxp folder about to integrate

Now you should have:

Say:

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\$OEM$

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\WPI

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\I386

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\SUPPORT

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\VALUEADD

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\DOTNETFX

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\DOCS

D:\WindowsXP_disc_files\WIN51IC.SP2 and others

Step3:

In order to reduce the size of my distributing file package, I excluded all the programs installer, so you have to download it yourself:

Place your downloadings to WPI\Install

You can refer to my package list as a guide:

http://www.visionnet.com.hk/SilentInstall/...gelistguide.zip

And also download all AutoIT script here:

http://www.visionnet.com.hk/SilentInstall/AutoITscript.zip

Step4:

Customize your WPI installer by executing WPI.hta --> Config

Then check all associating files names are corrent and exist.

***Note that my package programs lists are Traditional-Chinese version, so you have to customize the files name in Step5***

Step5:

Integrate all stuffs by n-lite. Search nlite to download one!

Enjoy!

Kenneth
