Server 2003 Netlogon Replication?

Hi All

Got a few odd things happening on my DC & SDC at the moment.

The netlogon folder does not seem to be replicating? between my DC and SDC, it doesnt appear to be a one way thing either.

AD is replicating fine and so is DNS.

Nothing appears in the error logs about this, have googled arround a bit and found a few solutions like setting burflags reg key to D2 but this did not cure the problem

Any ideas?

I checked replmon and it reports everything is replicating fine - All the GPO versions are macthed and working

Hi All

Have just done a few more tests. I added a new file in the netlogon folder on my DC and searched the sysvol share on the SDC for the file i created.

I found it in a folder called scripts_NTFRS_0a95d047 - but not in the netlogon folder on the SDC

Not quite sure whats going on here, anyone know how to fix it?

I'm guessing you caused the renamed 'scripts' folder when you forced the authoritative restore... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328492

To get round it in the mean time - i stoped the NETLOGON share on the offending server and shared the folder that was replicating as NETLOGON.

I will now follow the link you gave me to fix this correctly
