word 07 text table issues

Hi,

I am having problems managing my tables. Sometimes, if I insert a table into a document, I am unable to place the cursor AFTER the table. In this case I am making a series of tables in a word doc. I cannot add another table after this one or text after this table. In other words, I can't get out of this table except to go before it. I know how to insert text before a table - which is a common problem. But how do you get out of the table to go on?
