wmike1503 Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 (edited) Hi All,I have 4 machines in a small home network. They use the following:Vista Home Premium x1Vista Ultimate x1XP x2My problem is with the Vista Ultimate machine. My NAS (a Synology DS107+ with 1GB HD) on the Ultimate machine has dissappeared from my network. All the other machines do not have a problem.Even stranger, I had mapped the folders of the NAS , so in normal browsing views I can see and access the NAS folders with no problems.Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks.Mike Edited July 7, 2009 by wmike1503
Kotuku Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vis...-menu-in-vista/This may assist the Ultimate machine find the NAS. That worked for me, although still only have access to the Public Folder, but I just make other folders within that one for Backups of my 4 attached PC'sAnd I assume that is 1 Tb not Gb HD <smile>
