Gregg C Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Good morning guys,Is there a way to hide a picture folder from windows photo gallery ??Gregg
hydroplant Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 (edited) not in the default one that comes with vista but if you d-load the windows live photo gallery you can pick the folder you want it to look in and it stays that whey. but i will tell you a better program for picture viewing its FastStone Image Viewer and you can chose file associations in it. not to dis Microsoft programs as they windows photo gallery and windows live is a good program i have both on my computer i use them all independently. ajua Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 For picture viewing there are better programs. But Windows Live Photo Gallery is great to have an image library. If you want to exclude folders within Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Live Photo Gallery, you need to have those folders outside the Images folders. Then just add the folders you want to the gallery, but take into account that any subfolder in it will show.Maybe in upcoming versions you can exclude folders by right clicking on them or adding them in the options.
