I want the Start Menu MFU programs list to be initially empty. Normally it is pre-populated with MSN, WMP, Messenger, Tour, and Transfer Wizard. There are some old threads here that talk about using creative run-once .reg files. All of the methods I read were only for the current user, where I want it to be that way for all users. The keys they're using do not exist under HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT. I'm using nLite, and didn't find it in there either.

Apparently the MS OEM builder has the ability to add to the MFU for all users, but nothing about removing the default ones. I even used regmon and ran Taskbar and Start Menu Properties>Start Menu>Customize>Clear List, but as expected, it used keys for the current user only.

I think this question has been asked a lot, if someone actually develops a method for this, it would be helpful to many.
