graysky
If I connected to my XP Pro box via RDP (Remote Desktoping) my start menu looks a little different and is missing the 'stand by' option. When connected remotely, I have a 'windows security' option where the normal shutdown/restart/suspend/hibernate button should be located. If I click it, the taskmanger opens. From there I can go to its 'shutdown' menu, but both 'hibernate' and 'stand by' are greyed-out.How can I restore the 'suspend' option? JustinStacey.x
This is normal. RDPing into a machine is not the same as remotely controlling it using Teamviewer, or VNC for instance.
