"Outlook could not find the requested contact"

I bought a new computer, running Vista Premium 64 bit.

I installed Outlook 2002 from the original Office XP Professional CD.

When I use the "find contact" feature, I get the message:

"Outlook cannot find the requested contact" even if I type in the EXACT title of the contact.

On my previous computer, I did NOT have this problem with Outlook 2002.

The previous computer also ran Vista Premium 64 bit.

I tried deleting & reinstalling the Office XP program from the CD, and also applied XP Service Pack 3.

No success! Any ideas?

I'm new here - hope you can help, as "find contact" is a very important feature for me!
