MS Word 2000 - How do I add rows to protected table

I have a protected form that I want the users to be able to add rows to a table without unprotecting the form. I have attached an example that I copy/pasted from another form that works this way. My problem is that I can't recreate this from scratch, and if I copy/paste this example into my existing doc, it screws-up the format! Any suggestions? Thanks for your time.
