Not Showing Windows 7 OS on Start Up

Featured Replies

Friends,

I have 5 Partition. ( C,D,E,F,G)

C - Windows XP Sp3

D - Personal Files

E - Windows 7

F - Personal Files (2)

G - Personal Files (3)

From I installed Windows 7, It was working fine and When I start the Pc, I could see there the 2 Operating system ( WIndows xp and WIndows 7).

Yesterday I installed windows server 2003 on G Drive. After I stalled windows server 2003, I could not see the windows 7 Operating system on the Start up window. There are only Windows server 2003 and Windows XP...

Pls, any one can help me???

That's because XP and 2K3 use the old style boot sector. Once you installed 2K3 you overwrote Windows 7's boot sector. I've only been using Win7 for a week so I'm no expert but my suggestion is to use EasyBCD and see if you can rescue things. Option 2 is there's probably a repair option if you go to reinstall Windows 7 again from outside Windows.
