I have Routing and remote access running on the Office Domain controller. DHCP is only running on the router and not the DC with an IP address range of 192.168.1.1 thru 192.168.1.254. I reserved a range of Ip addresses for routing and remote access to always use 192.168.1.225 thru 192.168.1.240. But I notice when someone from home connects they can not connect to any of the shared locations on our network. I noticed that its because they are using the same network ips and subnet as our office is. So when they look for a share that is on the network it looks locally on their network and not on our office network.

So I wanted to change our network IP address to be like maybe 10.0.2.1 thur 10.0.2.225 . So when people connect to our network it won't be the same as their home default router IP addresses.

Is there anyone that can tell me how to resolve this issue differently and if so give steps on how to change it. And if I was going to change the Ip Address range on our network at the office how would it effect the domain controller and 4 other windows 2003 servers on the same network as well.

I just want to find out a very direct correct way to resolve this problem if someone can give me a step-by-step to follow.

Thanks
