sakthivels Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Greetings to all the people out there.Has some one tried using Sun's Virtual Box to create Windows Server 2008 virtual machine. I tried to install, but i couldn't get pass the Loading windows ... screen. I am using windows xp pro with service pack 3, 1 GB RAM, Sun Virtual Machine 2.2.0 r45846. fizban2 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 according to the documentation on Virtual Boxe's Wiki site ( http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads) Server 2008 is not listed as a valid OS install for virtual box,
MagicAndre1981 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 sure, Windows Server 2008 is supported and works fine as guest OS. When you create a VM select Windows Server 2008 as your guest OS.
