Overlapped I/O is in Progress Error 997

Hi,

I am trying to install a software using InstallAnywhere, which registers a few services as Windows services.

The Services are installed but not started, and when I try to start the services manually, the following error is displayed.

Could not start adminSvc service on Local Computer.

Error 997: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

where adminSvc is the service I installed.

Some other info:

1. I am installing the software and services with Administrator permissions

2. The same software when installed using InstallShield does start the same services.

Any help on how to start the services would be helpful.
