Cr4z33 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Since 3-4 days I am struggling at fixing some major problems I am having with my OS.If I right-click Desktop icons the EXPLORER.EXE task freezes and I have to kill and reload it.If I press SHIFT+CANC to instantly delete a Desktop shortcut/file/folder the same happens. If I click on the Windows Explorer icon in the Quick Launch nothing happens. If I open Windows Explorer in any other way, whenever I click on a subfolder in the right pane a new Windows Explorer window comes up although I choosed not to open that way in the options.I have tried to scan my system with whatever I could think about: KAV 2009, Spy Sweeper 6.x, SpyBot S&D, HiJackThis, AdAware FREE and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v1.36.They all say my computer is OK.I even tried to check if there were problems with the Context Menu and there were not.Wth else can I try to detect the problem?
