usb problem after RIS instalation

i have a strange problem. i've done some reading and finding about it on google, but nothing helped.

after i plug in a usb disc (either usb mouse, ...), the computer immdiately restarts. it started to do after i installed windows XP prof. via the RIS. Somewhere i've read it may cause power problem, motherboard, whatever...but it isn't it, now i found this problem on another same way instaled pc. on both of them everything was ok before i've started to play with RIS.

i've read the minidump: Probably caused by : USBPORT.SYS ( USBPORT+18649 )

i would be appreciate for any help
