word 2003 printer copy amount problem

Please can someone help out i have users complaining about the amount of copys that are coming out when they print

they have printer macros set up but when they change the amount of copies they want produced it stays at that amount and wont default back to 1 it stays on 2 for example even if the user goes back and changes it to 1

they normally have outlook 2003 and word runnning at the same time the only fix i have so far is to close outlook and word then re open them and it fixes itself

is there any other fix for this at all ?
