NWC command line (DevCon)

Greetings.

Today I started googling network connection (NWC) command line possibilities.

I found a nice, simple utility called togglenic & devcon.

Does anybody know anything about or have experience with devcon?

I found the syntax to dis/en able my NWCs, but

devcon seems to work at the HW level not the XP level.

That is, enabling with devcon does not enable the NWC

like choosing enable on the NWC icon.

Enabling with devcon seems to simply enable

the NWC that was disabled at the HW level with DevCon.

In any case I am looking for command lines to open

XP status/properties windows for NWCs and

to dis/en able the Direct Parallel connection

between two of my XP laptops.

Any helpful replies/insights appreciated.
