Mounting Shadow volumes on folder path in Win XP

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I want to mount the Volume Shadow Copy (Snapshot) of a disk, created by vshadow.exe, on a user specified folder path in Win XP.

I am not sure if it is possible.

I can assign a drive letter (using dosdev.exe) to the non-persistent shadow volume, but could not find a way to mount it on a specified folder path.

I have also tried using MOUNTVOL & DISKPART utility, but they both does not work on shadow volumes.

Please help!

Thanks,

Amit
