Can I backup wireless network profiles? Also access my passcodes

Hello,

I need to reformat and reinstall my OS. I am trying to save my wireless network settings.

I have the list in "Manage Wireless Networks" but I don't know the location of the profiles, and I cannot make a manual copy of the network keys - because the "show characters" feature in the properties of the secure networks is greyed out for some reason.

I'd like to:

A) Copy / Backup the entire wireless network settings profile if possible, and install it in my new system.

and

B) Learn how to access the network keys (passcodes) I've already entered.
