Microsoft Deployment Toolkit

Hi all

about 6 months ago i implimented a single image accross the board wihch is working fine ^_^

anyway came across the microsoft develeopment toolkit which is the amalgamation of the AIK and BDD apparently and anything else

so has anybod used it >?

for what and how was it.

I've used it before for XP for scripted installs from DVD which worked really well. I would boot into the DVD then select the settings and what software I wanted installed and then I could walk away and come back in an hour and it would be done. I was able to get it working over the network via WDS aswell which made updating and deploying it much easier. I still prefer to use WDS images deployed via pxe booting tho.

so is it a direct replacement for the WDS technique, ie should i be migrating my PXE rollout to use this?
