taskbar items to the right?

All of a sudden, the windows i open on my computer, instead of them going from left to right on my taskbar, they start on the right and theyre automatically grouped? :S

how do i get them back to normal?

Make sure your taskbar is "unlocked" - the quick launch bar is probably set to take up the majority of the space on the taskbar somehow, and sliding the separator back to the left should fix it. Lock the taskbar when you're done so it doesn't happen again.
