Aero for Group Policy in Mixed domain?

Hi bit of a problem and i wonder if anybody else can help me.

I have a large domain of PC's which are a mixture of XP and Vista

I currently have windows Server 2003 as the domain controllers but I'm going to upgrade to a later server soon.

Thing is with XP I have forced the luna theme to the users desktops which is fine, but I want users to be able to use the Aero theme on the Vista machines, other wise I get the crappy looking windows classic interface... Is there any way to enforce Aero theme if they log into the vista PCs?

I thought about putting the vista PC's in their own OU, but i think the desktop theme policy is a user policy and not a computer policy..

And to make things more difficult, users roam around and log into both XP and vista PC's.

And before anybody says about the classic being the best option because Aero hogs resources et etc.. I really dont care about that as these PC's are Quad core with lots of ram and run just fine with the Aero desktop..

hope somebody has a fresh idea of how to get around this problem.
