Suterusu Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Well, in the guide tells you how to add the critical updates to the unattended install. I have a question. Are you only able to do the critical updates or can you do all of the updates? I really do not want to get the updates later unless I have to.
Suterusu Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 I really want an answer and hate to bump but I want to know so I can progress. I have read the entire guide 2 or 3 times to see if I understood most of it (and its a habit for me to read a problem before starting to solve it) but seeing as it is slightly outdated and lacked specifics or I had some questions that weren't covered, I decided to ask.
Martin H Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Yes, you can also integrate/slipstream other updates into your install-source than just the high-priority security patches, but if you e.g. use the /integrate switch to slipstream the updates, then it's not all updates that's supported, and you'll have to find that out for yourself. If using svcpack.inf, then most updates work without problems...
