Funnycat Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I have recently acquired a pre-slipstreamed vista sp1 dvd and I have vista without any SPs on my laptop, and my connection is too slow to download a 550mb service pack. So what I'm asking is, basically, can I install the SP1 from the DVD?
MagicAndre1981 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 no, you can't do this. But you can reinstall your laptop and use the new DVD. After doing this you'll have a Windows Vista with Sp1.
