smap Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I'm gathering I can use nLite to create an XP install CD that installs and configures all my applications. Sounds cool, but how difficult is it to maintain it? I add applications frequently so I'd constantly need to be updating my nLite install. I'm sure others are in the same boat.
amigafan Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I use RVMIntegrator to update the source, nLite to shrink and customise, and the $OEM$ folders for applications. This means that updating apps doesn't affect the XP source, and vice versa. See the MSFN Unattended guide for more info.As long as you use a sensible folder structure, maintenance is fairly easy.
