Installing custom screensaver & wallpaper as defaults?

Recommended Posts

You can try editting a custom theme to use your desired wallpaper and screensaver. Then use $OEM$ folder to copy the wallpaper, screensaver and theme to the default locations and insert this registry tweak at install:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes]

"InstallTheme"="%ResourceDir%\\themes\\themename.theme"
