Mikey52
I'm having an odd problem on a user's machine and Google is coming up dry. Twice now she has had an issue where Word will stop displaying any text. New documents or previously created documents, it doesn't matter, nothing comes up on the screen. You can type as much as you want, change the font size, color, etc. and still, nothing is displayed. Hitting Ctrl-A will highlight the text (just a black box, can't see the letters) and spellcheck will still check the document (highlighting the text with empty black boxes again) but you still cant see anything. Print preview will also not display anything BUT printing the document out displays text just fine. That's what I don't understand.I have fixed it twice now for her by doing a repair and telling Office to restore all default settings so it seems like this is a setting somewhere but for the life of me I can't figure out what! Mikey52
Yeah, I looked at that and it wasn't checked. When this happens it also removes word as the editor in Outlook so I have no idea what's going on.
