RussT Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Hi all,This is just a minor "nice to have" thing really. I've made an unattended install for my girlfriend's mum (she works in IT) with an EasyBoot menu etc, one option is "recovery console" which just lets you press R and use the console. It's one I got off the web, however on the blue screen when you get to press R it says "Windows XP Home Edition". I'd like to change that if possible. Any clues? Searched here and the web and can't find anything ... am familiar with Hex editors etc so just a pointer would be handy.Cheers!Russ
aryat Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Just go into your windows source[mine is XPCD] and search for SSMS.EXE & remember use Resource Tuner NOT Hex or Hack they don't work and it's much more easier to use.
