I am having a hell of a time installing a printer. Everytime I try I get RPC not running but it is. The one thing I did notice is that I dont have a RPC locator in the services but it is in my system32 folder.

Yes the printer driver is XP64 compatible.

It's an all in one scanner, copier, printer. The scanner is working. Everytime I go to add a printer from "printers and faxes" I get the print spooler isnt running. I turn it on but it keeps resetting itself to off. Even if I chose "manual" operation.

Please someone help me, I've been at this four hours now
