I have tried to get a bootable DVD of Vista 64 bit using Vlite. The dvd I create boots just fine but does not create a boot for my hard drives. There could be several issues.

1: Everything I have for Vlite says X13-49121.exe and I have X14-63453.exe downloaded from Digital River. From what I can see in the forum X13 doesn't contain SP1 while X14 does. Does this make a difference?

2: I have multiple hard drives, one, my current C: drive, contains XP Pro. I know I can't install Vista 64 from XP-32bit-thus Vlite. I am trying to do a clean install on a second drive but when I try to boot from the second drive I get an error message that says the boot files aren't there. What bothers me most is that if I keep the Vlite created DVD in my drive, Vista will boot, but several files needed don't appear to have been installed.

I had an idea of trying to rerun Vista install from Vista but that doesn't work either, nor does creating a boot disk using CDImage.

I have been trying for nearly a month to resolve the problem and nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
