December 27, 200322 yr Hi Guys,I managed to get an OEM installation working after MANY hours! using the Multi-DVD method and PDF by "flyakite"I tested this Using Virtual PC 2004 First Of the construction of the DVD should look like this....$:\ROOT$:\ROOT\CDSH$:\ROOT\SETUP $:\ROOT\SETUP\WINXPPRO $:\ROOT\SETUP\WINXPPRO\I386 $:\ROOT\SETUP\WINXPPRO\$OEM$$:\ROOT\PRO1Now as for all the files these should be something like this....TXTSETUP.SIF - IN PRO1 DIR ONLY - DELETE ALL OTHERS (i386)$:\ROOT\PRO1\TXTSETUP.SIFSETUPLDR.BIN - IN PRO1 DIR ONLY - DELETE ALL OTHERS (i386)$:\ROOT\PRO1\SETUPLDR.BIN WINNT.SIF - IN PRO1 DIR ONLY - DELETE ALL OTHERS (i386)$:\ROOT\PRO1\WINNT.SIF PRO1.DAT - IN ROOT DIR ONLY - DELETE ALL OTHERS $:\ROOT\PRO1.DAT DELETE ALL :- TXTSETUP.SI_ SETUPLDR.BI_ SETUPLDR.BAKBelive I found these in the PRO1 DIR After extracting the boot disks.MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE EDITED THE "SETUPLDR.BIN"$:\ROOT\PRO1\SETUPLDR.BIN With UltraEdit 32 TO MAKE IT SAY "PRO1" Instead of "i386" and make sure you have done this 4 times!MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE EDITED THE "TXTSETUP.SIF"$:\ROOT\PRO1\TXTSETUP.SIFWith NOTEPAD TO MAKE IT SAY "\SETUP\WINXPPRO\" Instead of "\" and make sure you included all "\" 's as you see here "\SETUP\WINXPPRO\" - the very end "\". MAKE SURE THAT THE PRO1.DAT file "PRO1.DAT" $:\ROOT\PRO1.DAT Has "SETUPLDR.BINBOOTFIX.BINPRO1" In the HEXCODE - search for it usingUltraEdit 32ALSO TO GET RID OF THE EULA AND MAKE SURE THAT IT COPYS THE $OEM$ folder over then edit the "winnt.sif" to include[Data] UnattendedInstall="Yes"[unattended] Repartition="No" UnattendMode="FullUnattended" OemSkipEula="Yes" TargetPath=\Windows OemPreinstall="Yes" UnattendSwitch="Yes"Well I Think I have covered it all. These are everything that I have done to Make sure that my copy was working and after doing them all it was!So Good Luck!!XenShocker
