MHz Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 Be sure to read the MSFN Unattended Guide. It has the answer that you seek. The advice given by Martin H is critical for installing InstallShield from read only media as InstallShield by default tries to create a log file in its own directory when run as silent mode and may cause the install to fail if the log cannot be written. Martin H Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Please re-read MHz's reply, and then re-read the MSFN guide's info about "InstallShield installers" and "RunOnceEx/RunOnceEx from CD"...When you have done that, and still do not understand it, then please ask a specific question to what you don't understand, but seriously, you should be able to understand it from the guide allready...
