msoft.vvk Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Hello friends, I have to club windows vista and windows server 2008 (Longhorn), into single multi language bootable DVD.I am facing the problem while clubbing as both OS has same structure. If anybody has any info about this whether clubbing is possible or not. Please reply..
Kelsenellenelvian Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 (edited) You can't.There is a limit to the DVD size you can use a still have the OS'es be installable. With the lang packs you are over 3 gigs for Vista alone. With both OS'es you would be pushing 6 gigs and setup won't read it. Kelsenellenelvian Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 It's Not the size of the DVD it is a limitation of the new installer system. You cannot go over 4 gigs size on the iso. The installation simply craps out.AlsoPLEASE DON'T create multiple memberships and multi-post! http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=126900&hl=You'll get banned...

Kelsenellenelvian Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 The ISO9660 file system has a limitation whereby it cannot contain files that are 4GB (or larger) in size.No solution is known yet.Simply have 2 disks.
