Outlook 2003 always hanging

i've been searching everywhere for a solution to this Outlook 2003. we have a mix of users who use either Outlook 2002, 2003, and recently 2007. Our goal is to upgrade them from 2002 to 2007. The Outlook 2003 users where there because of a previous misjudgment.

Anyway, both Outlook 2002 and 2007 (we use Exchange 2007 SP1 now) work without any problems whatsoever. Outlook 2003, on the other hand, would always give a connection problem like timeout even though I have a non-obstructive, 1Gbps, connection to our server! I've tried all suggested solutions I could google without success.

Now since this is a MS forum itself maybe someone could give me hand in fixing this Outlook 2003 disconnection problem?
