Outlook 2007

We have a problem with outlook 2007 in cached mode.

We have given our sales people a laptop and a usb gprs modem so they can call in from where they are at that moment.

When outlook is opened at work (wireless or with a cable) outlook connect to the server. When they call in from outside with the usb modem and vpn outlook opens and goes in offline mode saying connection to server is not connected.

We can ping the server and all of the other applications work fine.

When we disable the cached mode outlook reconnects to the exchange server using the usb gprs connection.

Is there anyone who can help us with this ?

Start outlook.exe manually with the /rpcdiag switch.
