Add to pc to domain errors

I am having a problem adding computers to the domain. It started about a week ago. When i try to add the computer to the domain my lan disconnects and throws an error domain controller unavailable. If I give the computer a static IP i can add it. Anyone have any ideas? This happens every I try and add a pc. Could it be dhcp errors? Any help would be great!!
