Windows Media Encoder problem

i am using an acer aspire 7520-5926 on vista home 64 bit. im running an amd x2 64 processor with a nvidia 7000m geforce video card. Whenever i try to install the 64 version of WME (windows media encoder) i get the following message:

I was looking at system requirements and found this:

* Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003, Datacenter x64 Edition; Windows Server 2003, Enterprise x64 Edition; Windows Server 2003, Standard x64 Edition; Windows Vista; Windows XP 64-bit

1800 MHz processor or higher, such as an Advance Micro Devices (AMD) Athlon 64 and

512 MB of RAM or more

I got that processor so should it not work, leave a post if you can help please.
