dos 622 emm386-cant use after moving dos to hd #2

i copied a backup image of dos 6.22 partition to my hard drive #2, it was originally on hard drive #1 (had partition problems).

when i booted it i got error msg "emm386: unrecoverable priveleged operation error #00-press return to reboot".

Ive since found it will only boot if i rem out emm386.

i suspect some kind of interrupt conflict but am unsure & need to find out what memory addresses emm & the 2nd hard drive use.

any suggestions?
