Hi

I'm looking for a way of adding a couple of registry keys into a Windows XP such that they are present before Windows tried to join the domain during an unattended build.

(The registry keys are to enable the workstation to join a so-called SINGLELABELDNSDOMAIN where the domain name is a single dns sub-domain rather than something sensible. Don't ask me why the domain is named like that - not my idea!)

The registry keys need to be there before it tries to join the domain, otherwise the join fails. My backup plan is to write something which add the registry keys and calls netdom to join the domain, but I'd prefer to somehow slipstream the registry entries into the build so the domain join happens naturally.

Any ideas?

Chas
