Gregora Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Okay, I have a hobby and that is designing games. I did a lot of game design for fun on my old POS. When I got my new machine last week, I installed RPG Maker XP (my favorite program) and apparently, I keep getting an error saying "failed to obtain trial serial from the nTitles server".I've re-installed and re-downloaded this thing serveral times already. I swear I'm about to throw this thing across the library atm.Help!
Kotuku Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Umm, not really a vista problem, have you been to the RPG Maker XP and seen if they have a Vista update?It maybe your Firewall preventing the connection to get the serial number, but I doubt that, but you can turn it off, via Control Panel/SECURITY and see.
