dudedudedude Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) I am usually pretty good at figuring out how to do things I am not familiar with from online tutorials but I just don’t understand how to use WAIK. I have looked at the posts by aviv00 and just am missing something. I am trying to make my server 2008 workstation take up less than 4 GB disk space. I know how to mount the original image, have installed WAIK but cannot figure out how to pre-install Wireless Networking and the Desktop Experience features as well as how to pre-install the File Service/Windows Search Service roles to the Server 2008 Standard image mounted in the folder C:\mount. I also don’t know how to delete the other features, or what packages I can delete that will not screw up with the roles and features I want to install. A detailed explanation with examples of the commands, ie the commands to pre-install Desktop Experience offline with package manager would be extremely appreciated.
