how much light does a scanner throws to a paper in order to scan it?

Featured Replies

That'd depend on the bulb in the scanner itself. All scanners are not made equal, so contacting the scanner vendor (or seeing if they label this on the specs page of the model on their web site) is your best course of action.

I could guess though - enough to do the job? ;) Sorry, had to do it.

unfortunately I can't find such information in the scanner specs and menufacturer doesn't provide such information

I would suppose a general information webiste about how scanners work would give such info

Well, if you've searched and such a thing existed, you probably have found it by now. Otherwise, other than taking a scanner apart and looking at the bulb inside, it's not common knowledge.
