I cant get win2k8 to change the monitor refresh rate.

I have used two monitors - a sony trinitron multiscan 200sf

and a compaq p910.

I even tried a utility called refresh force after searching

MSFN threads for similar topics. The monitor just will not

go above 60hz and when I used refresh force it couldnt query

the monitor under win 2k8 - yet when I load win 2003 back onto

the server that is ok so I know its not a hardware problem.

If anyone has any ideas on this or knows of utilities or

a fix I would be grateful for your input -
