skriptspn
Hello,I have successfully managed to switch to AHCI with the help of the FAQ... I'm running a notebook computer with ICH9M-E chipset. Right now Windows XP recognizes the controler as:Intel® ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI ControllerI have an external hdd enclosure with 2 hdds connected. When I connect this enclosure via e-sata only the first drive is detected. When I do the same under linux both drives are detected (so port multiplying is supported by the chipset). How can I do the same under Win XP ? Is it possible at all ? Is this because the AHCI driver doesn't support port multiplying or does windows XP itself not support it ?Any feedback will be greatly appreciated skriptspn
