Album covers keep changing each time I open MCE

I have an extensive collection of mp3's on an external hard drive. I am using media player 11, and MCE 2005 with all appropriate updates.

Each time I open media center and go to my music, I find that the album cover photos are changed. I have gone back through my music and placed a copy of the album art in each folder, and designated the proper pic in each folder. Once done I re-enter media center and the pics are correct on some and wrong on others.

I can't spend all my time correcting pics in my music.

Any suggetions would be greatly appreciated.
