kobersky Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 One time I used a windows disk cleanup program and compress old files. Now I got a new bigger harddisk and want to do my Windows faster, so need to decompress these files, but I do not know how to do it. In disk clean up menu I did not find an item for decompress. Can anybody help me?
Arie Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Select the compressed files via Windows Explorer, right-click and choose Properties. On the General page is an Advanced button, click it. Here you'll see a mark in a checkbox to make the files compressed, remove the checkmark and you're done.
