Hi all, hope somebody can help, I input data onto SQL server used for a seperate reporting program, but some of my customers require reports in excel. information regarding dimensions is entered onto SQL using 2 decimal places, but when I import data into Excel it shows as anything up to 13 decimal places. When I format the cells to show only 2 decimal places it looks ok, but when my customer calculates the cubic capacity it is incorrect. he also receives the full figure when he opens the file.

Ok, thats the problem, can any one please tell me how to restrict the value to 2 decimal places?

by the way, I do not have this problem when values are ".25, .50 or .75"

Many thanks in advance

Phil
